CLEVELAND — 3News has confirmed a car crashed into two Cleveland police cruisers near the Industrial Valley neighborhood Thursday night.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Broadway and Finn Avenues, with our cameras showing the suspect vehicle to be a Chevrolet SUV. According to the department, the driver of the vehicle was drunk when it slammed into a parked police cruiser that had no one inside, while the other cruiser was grazed.
After initially telling 3News no injuries had been reported, police later clarified Friday that two officers were taken to the hospital, although they have since been released after being treated for minor ailments. The unnamed suspect was arrested at the scene.
