CLEVELAND -- Two Cleveland firefighters were taken to a local hospital due to the heat while battling a blaze on the city's west side.
Crews responded to the fire at a plant off W. 160th Street near Interstate 71 on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Cleveland Fire, the blaze was upgraded to a 222 Alarm. Large stacks of compressed cardboard caught fire.
A third firefighter was evaluated by EMS, but was cleared to return to work.
Cleveland Fire spokesman Mike Norman said the blaze is still active and was a result of a combination of water, cardboard and wind.
