CLEVELAND — Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Cleveland is looking for volunteers to help distribute meals to the less fortunate during the annual "Christmas Hot Meals" event at St. Augustine Hunger Center.
The event will take place on Christmas Day, December 25. Meals will be distributed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Augustine Hunger Center located at 1400 Howard Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, 44113.
The event will look to serve up to 11,000 meals this year. Volunteers will be used to help assist with meal service and delivery.
Meal delivery will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Barons Arena and continue until all meals are delivered. Meals will be delivered to approximately 15 community partners that support the homeless in surrounding counties.
According to event organizers, volunteers for the meal delivery service is of the greatest need this year.
