CLEVELAND — Police have located the family of a young boy who was found wandering in the area of West 38th and Clark Avenue.
Earlier Sunday morning, police asked for the public's help in finding the child's parents or guardians after passersby brought the child to MetroHealth Medical Center.
The boy, who is approximately 1 year old, was not harmed or injured. He was released to the Department of Children and Family Services, police said Sunday morning.
“Officers continue to canvass the area where the boy was found,” according to a press release from the Cleveland Police Department.
Authorities are continuing their investigation of the situation.
No additional details were immediately available.
