CLEVELAND — Work is progressing on the 23-story City Club Apartments on Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland as planners look forward to the building having its first occupants by this fall.
On Thursday, Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb was among the dignitaries on hand for a "Topping Off" event held on the building's 18th floor. The event coincided with the opening of the City Club Apartments' pre-leasing center.
"It is so exciting to see the evolution of downtown Cleveland’s skyline,” said Bibb. “Our city is open for business and we have so many incredible things happening here. We are laying the groundwork for a city where people can live, work, eat, and play.”
Located at 776 Euclid Avenue on the corner of East 8th Street, City Club Apartments Cleveland will include 304 apartments and penthouses. What will make this community unique will be the number of high-end amenities throughout.
For the culinary side of things, Dean and Anna Valore, who own Rocky River's Tartine Bistro, will be opening several French-themed concepts at City Club Apartments Cleveland.
“Café Tartine will flow right from the lobby and have its own entrance and outdoor patio on Euclid as well," said Anna Valore. "Our French-themed café will feature a gourmet coffee program, as well as breakfast and lunch menus."
“J’adore will be a two-level French restaurant with an award-winning wine program,” added Dean Valore. “We will have indoor and outdoor seating on the first floor and you will access the second floor and its outdoor patio from a grand staircase. The spaces will feature both casual and upscale dining and deliver premier contemporary French cuisine.”
There will be a speakeasy in the basement of the building–The Green Box (L’Ecrin Vert). “The 40-seat bar and lounge will have a French cabaret theme and Le Moulin Rouge style, featuring a sexy, green velvety-vibe with overstuffed seating and the best craft cocktail program in The Land,” Dean Valore stated.
In addition, the Valores and their team will also support City Club Apartments’ residents and their guests at the community’s 23rd floor Sky Club and heated rooftop pool with a weekend full-service bar and light lunch program at the Sky Club Café.
Other resort-style amenities offered at City Club Apartments Cleveland will include:
