CLEVELAND — On Monday, the Cleveland Ballet announced the return to the stage with their 2021-2022 season!
"Cleveland Ballet, in conjunction with their partner Playhouse Square, is delighted to announce their 2021/2022 season of mainstage performances including Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, and A Midsummer Night's Dream," says a representative for the Cleveland Ballet in a release sent to 3News.
The upcoming season marks the return to Playhouse Square, and a return to live performances, since the beginning of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
"After a year hiatus, the resident company of Playhouse Square is returning home in a storm of performances. With brand new choreography by Artistic Director Gladisa Guadalupe for Don Quixote and A Midsummer Night's Dream, the season is sure to strike awe and wonder for all."
The season will begin at the Mimi Ohio Theatre with 'Don Quixote,' performing on October 15 and October 16, 2021.
'The Nutcracker' will arrive at the Connor Palace just in time for the holiday season in Cleveland, hitting the stage December 3 through December 5.
'A Midsummer Night's Dream' will finish out the season in May 2022, with three performances at the Mimi Ohio Theatre.
