CLEVELAND — An investigation is underway after an overnight shooting outside of Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital in Ohio City.
A spokesperson for the hospital told 3News that two Cleveland Clinic police officers were involved in the shooting, which took place at around 12:30 a.m. Officials say that the shooting happened after police witnessed a domestic violence incident.
"Cleveland police reported to the scene, and we are fully cooperating with their investigation. The hospital remains safe and open for patient care," said Cleveland Clinic in a statement to 3News.
No other details regarding the incident have been released.
