CLEVELAND — A suspect has been arrested in connection to the fatal stabbing of a 64-year-old man.
According to the Cleveland Division of Police, the incident happened on Tuesday, May 28 at approximately 12 p.m. Officers responded to the 8300 block of Lake Avenue for reports of an "unknown trouble." When officers arrived to the scene, they found the victim, identified as Osvaldo Gonzalez, with multiple injuries from an apparent stabbing. Cleveland EMS pronounced Gonzalez dead at the scene.
After an initial investigation, police arrested a 44-year-old man in connection to the stabbing.
The Cleveland Division of Police homicide unit continues to investigate the incident.
The name of the suspect has yet to be released.
