CLEVELAND — The Cleveland FBI held a ceremony Tuesday morning to honor special agents who have been killed in the line of duty.
The ceremony included Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office Color Guard and bagpipers along with musicians from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, guest vocalists and FBI speakers.
“The Honor Bell will be tolled for the 88 special agents killed in the line of duty as a sign of respect and honor for Fallen Heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice so the rest can exist in peace and safety,” organizers tell 3News. “The primary mission is to show the utmost respect and honor to the individual and their family.”
We streamed the FBI's memorial ceremony as it happened live, which you can watch again in the video player below:
Authorities will also host the memorial parade at 10:30 a.m. Friday along Lakeside Avenue.
