4 treated for smoke inhalation after overnight Cleveland fire

CLEVELAND — Four people – including three children – were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center early Friday morning due to smoke inhalation from a house fire in the 4200 block of Central Avenue in Cleveland.

All were transported in stable condition from the scene, according to Lt. Mike Norman of the Cleveland Fire Department. No ages were provided.

Lt. Norman, who reports that the call first came in at 4:12 a.m., also says the property loss is estimated at $50,000.

The cause has been ruled accidental.

No additional details were immediately available.
