Cleveland firefighter injured, taken to hospital following vacant house fire

The firefighter was taken in stable condition to MetroHealth.

CLEVELAND — A Cleveland firefighter was taken to the hospital following a house fire on Thursday morning.

Cleveland Fire says the incident happened at a vacant home in the 3500 block of West 69th Street, just south of Denison Avenue. 

One firefighter was injured during the fire and was taken by Cleveland EMS to MetroHealth in stable condition, but officials did not elaborate.

At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation.
