CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating after a kindergarten student apparently brought a gun and drugs to school.
Officials say the child, who attends St. Adalbert Catholic School on East 83rd Street, had a loaded revolver and "suspected narcotics" in his backpack. Authorities believe he accidently brought a family member's backpack to class instead of his own.
No one was injured, but the bag was confiscated as evidence. The department's vice unit is expected to follow up.
