CASE DETAILS
The incident dates back to Feb. 8, 2023, when Joshua Lynch shot 34-year-old Jovon Fergunson-Lynch outside of her home near Huntmere Avenue and East 161st Street in Cleveland.
Officials previously noted that following the shooting, Joshua Lynch dragged the victim's body outside the house in front of their 7-year-old daughter, and put her body inside a car and fled the scene with the daughter in the victim's car.
The Cleveland Division of Police and Cleveland EMS responded to the scene, where Jovon was pronounced dead. The daughter was found safe in Elyria.
