Cleveland Metroparks announced that their annual Touch-a-Truck event will be held this year at Brookside Reservation on Sunday, Aug. 21.
The family-friendly event will take place from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
At the event, kids will be able to go behind the wheel in nearly 50 vehicles that are used help to preserve the Cleveland Metroparks in Northeast Ohio.
Families will also have the opportunity to take a look at bucket trucks, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, freightliners and police cars. During the free event, there will also be a 40-ton sandbox, craft station and tractor rides.
“Touch-a-Truck presented by CrossCountry Mortgage encourages kids’ sense of discovery and is an opportunity to foster hands-on learning and exploration,” said Cleveland Metroparks CEO Brian M. Zimmerman.
Guests who attend Touch-a-Truck will receive $5 discounted admission to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
