Cleveland police: 47-year-old man killed in motorcycle crash

The accident happened at around 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the intersection of Superior Avenue and East 117th Street.

CLEVELAND — An investigation is underway after a fatal motorcycle crash in Cleveland.

The Cleveland Division of Police says the accident happened at around 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the intersection of Superior Avenue and East 117th Street. 

As a result of the crash, a 47-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by Cleveland EMS. 

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office has since identified the victim as James Flood of Cleveland. 

Cleveland police told 3News that no other injuries were reported. 

At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
