CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Family Center for Missing Children and Adults is asking for help from the public after a 15-year-old girl ran away.
Suhail Gramago was last seen on Wednesday, Oct. 6, and her current location is unknown. Since going missing, she has been active on social media, but there is still a concern that she is in danger.
"A runaway juvenile should not be overlooked as they can be equally at risk for harm as those whose status is unknown," center officials in a press release Monday afternoon. "We saw this in many cases and want to ask for help in bringing Suhail home to her family."
Gramago, also known as Nicole, is described as a Hispanic female standing 5 feet 7 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes and weighing 120 pounds.
Gina DeJesus, survivor of the "Miracle in Cleveland" and co-founder of the center, provided the following message for the young girl:
"Hi Suhail. I'm Gina DeJesus. You may not [know] my story. I was kidnapped for nine years, and I missed my parents every day. While I was abducted, I saw them on tv and saw how sad they were. The authorities assumed I was a runaway.
"Please contact your parents. Your family loves you. Your parents are worried about you, just like mine were worried about me. Your parents have assured me you are not in trouble. That said, they are very worried. They need to know you are safe and they want you home. Please contact your parents or us at clevelandmissing.org or 216-232-6470 or Cleveland PD Detective Zola at 216-623-2755."
Those who have information on Gramago’s whereabouts are also encouraged to call either of the phone numbers provided above.
