CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating a shooting that wounded a 19-month-old child on the city's west side.
According to police, the incident happened in the 3100 block of West 31st Street. Officers say the infant sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder and was taken by EMS to a nearby hospital.
Cleveland police told 3News that a 26-year-old man was arrested for failure to secure dangerous ordnance and child endangering.
As of Friday morning, the 19-month-old is in stable condition.
