CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police announced the arrest of three suspects related to a string of car break-ins.
On Monday, March 4, Cleveland police received a call reporting a group of men breaking into cars on the 1100 block of Carnegie Avenue. When officers arrived to the scene, the suspects fled from police in a nearby vehicle.
The pursuit continued until it reached the area near East 79th Street and Chester Avenue. All three suspects abandoned the car and tried to escape on foot.
Officers and the K-9 unit were able to locate and arrest all three suspects, who are now awaiting charges.
Police determined that the vehicle the suspects used to flee from capture was stolen.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
Cleveland police have not released the names of the suspects at this time.
