CLEVELAND — An individual has been arrested after allegedly striking a 5-month-old child and a 23-year-old man with a vehicle in Cleveland on Sunday morning.
Cleveland police say that the individuals were struck by a vehicle at around 6:30 a.m. in the area of East 79th Street and Opportunity Corridor.
Both victims were taken to the hospital via EMS. Cleveland EMS says the infant was taken to UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital where the child was later pronounced dead. The 23-year-old man was taken to University Hospital in serious condition.
Cleveland police say that an individual has been arrested in connection to the incident, but has not yet been charged.
