Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams gave his new officers some advice, "Treat the people you meet out there and service out there the exact same way you would want another police office to treat the people in this room that you love, and everything will be all right."
The officers had 6 months of training, much of it done in Columbus at the Ohio Highway Patrol Academy.
The city is actively recruiting more officers, with the goal of adding 150 more this year, and 100 additional officers in the first quarter of 2019. Click here to apply.
