CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police has taken a man into custody after cautioning the public to avoid the area near the 3200 block of West 131st Street on Tuesday afternoon.
"The police activity in the area of the 3200 block of W. 131 has been cleared," police officials noted in an email to 3News just before 5 p.m. "We thank our community for their patience and cooperation."
Cleveland police add that "an update will be provided as information becomes available."
At approximately 3 p.m., the division sent out a notice reporting that police activity was taking place in the area of the 3200 block of West 131st Street and to avoid the area until further notice.
