The event took place Wednesday morning and featured a friendly competition between police officers and firefighters to determine which group could eat the most pizza in a set amount of time.

The winning team would earn a trophy, bragging rights and free pizza for a year!

So who came out of the competition victorious? Cleveland Fire!

"I feel like I've been training my whole life for this," said one Cleveland firefighter.

Bragging rights for Cleveland Fire for an entire year is almost as good as the free pizza!

The Cleveland Police Foundation hopes that the event continues to grow and will be bigger and better next year.
