CLEVELAND — As 72 Cleveland Police Academy graduates were sworn in Tuesday morning, it was a true sign of the times.

With Mayor Frank Jackson and Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams atop the steps at City Hall, each graduate stood before them in small groups to take their oath of office – all standing at least six feet apart while wearing masks.

Congratulations, graduates!
