CLEVELAND — Cleveland Police are investigating two homicides on the city’s west side from Monday evening.
At 3:45 p.m., police say they responded to the 2100 hundred block of W. 96 for reports of a gunshot victim. When they arrived they found a 34-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the back. The victim died on the scene. At the scene, officers learned that the victim had been approached by an unknown male who chased and shot him. No arrests have been made at this time.
The second investigation is in the 1200 block of W.112th Street.
A witness told Lakewood Police that when they returned home, they found their roommate stabbed. Cleveland Police was contacted to investigate and found the victim dead inside the home at 4:20 p.m.
