CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are currently investigating an alleged hit-and-run incident that killed a 7-year-old boy.
According to a Cleveland Division of Police spokesperson, the boy was riding his skateboard in the driveway of a parking lot at 16024 Lakeshore Blvd. at around 7:20 p.m. on Friday when a large SUV with tinted windows allegedly hit him and dragged him underneath the car.
Police allege the car fled the driveway and left the scene. The 7-year-old was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the boy as Amir Prewitt.
Cleveland Police Sergeant Wilfredo Diaz told 3News they located the SUV, a black Mercedes GLS450 4MATIC, early Saturday afternoon. Diaz says the vehicle was found parked and unoccupied before police towed it away.
No arrests have been made at this time. You can view photos of the vehicle below.

Monday evening, a vigil was held in Amir's memory. His mother was among those paying tribute.
"I appreciate everyone coming, I appreciate the love and condolences, but I don't know who did this," she told 3News. "The killer could be amongst me right now and I wouldn't know, because nobody wants to speak up."
