Cleveland police searching for suspect after car crashes into business

Cleveland police officials say a silver or gray sedan intentionally struck a business on Steelyard Drive on October 27.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police is asking for help from the public in identifying a suspect who crashed into a storefront on Steelyard Drive.

Police say that they responded to 3269 Steelyard Drive on Oct. 27, at around 9:35 p.m. after a vehicle "intentionally" struck a storefront. 

The crash caused approximately $40,000 in damage to the business, which was empty at the time of the crash. 

Police say that the vehicle, which appears to be a silver or gray sedan with tinted windows, fled the scene. 

Cleveland police officials are asking that anyone with information call the accident investigation unit at 216-623-5295.
