Cleveland police: Missing 23-year-old woman and baby found

CLEVELAND — Update:

As of 7:54 a.m., Cleveland police say that both the woman and her child have been safely located.

The Cleveland Division of Police is asking for help from the public with finding a missing woman and her 1-year-old child.

Police say that 23-year-old Dashanae McCurry and her child, Jiere Clark Jr., were last seen in the 3600 block of East 55th Street. 

On Tuesday, Dec. 13, at around 9 p.m., McCurry, who was visiting from out of town, was driving a vehicle in the 3600 block of East 55th Street, headed toward East 191st Street and Nottingham Road to visit 27-year-old Jiare Zakee Clark. 

At around 11 p.m., McCurry called her family and was heard arguing with a person, who the family believed was Clark. 

McCurry's vehicle was located and parked unoccupied in the area of East 191st Street, but she and Clark Jr. are still reported missing. Police believe that McCurry and her son are with the 27-year-old man.

McCurry is 5'5, weighs 130 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red coat. Clark is described as being 6'0, weighing 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
