Cleveland Public Power reports hundreds of outages on city's west side

The outage is impacting approximately 900 people.

CLEVELAND — The lights are out for approximately 900 customers on Cleveland's west side due to an outage with Cleveland Public Power.

"We are currently experiencing a power outage on the west side of Cleveland, CPP tweeted at 10:02 a.m. Friday.

CPP tweeted an update about the outages at 11:23 a.m. in which they listed the affected areas as follows: From Fenwick Ave to Denison Ave, from W 41st St to W 63rd St, and the Old Brooklyn area."

Crews are working to restore power, but have provided no estimate.

It's unknown what caused the outage at this time.
