4 people shot in alleged stolen property dispute: What Cleveland police are saying

Cleveland police told 3News the shooting happened during an alleged dispute over stolen property.

CLEVELAND — An investigation is underway after four people were shot in Cleveland on Sunday in an alleged dispute over stolen property.

Cleveland police say the shooting happened on Sept. 1, at around 12:50 a.m. in the 14800 block of Lawndale Avenue. 

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the following four victims with gunshot wounds:

  • A 61-year-old man 
  • A 39-year-old woman 
  • A 43-year-old man 
  • A 24-year-old woman 

Cleveland police told 3News that a 31-year-old man was arrested in connection with the shooting. 

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
