CLEVELAND — 3News has learned that Al Ferguson has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident that happened at Urban Kutz Barbershop in Cleveland.
Cleveland police told 3News that Ferguson, 41, has been charged with felonious assault and tampering with evidence.
According to police, they responded to reports of shots being fired on Sunday, Nov. 10, at around 3:30 p.m. in the area of West 112th Street and Detroit Avenue.
The incident allegedly began inside the barbershop located on Detroit Avenue when an argument broke out between an employee and Ferguson.
During the altercation, Ferguson allegedly fired a single shot inside the business. According to police, Ferguson then stepped outside and fired an additional four to five shots into the air before fleeing the scene.
Waverly Willis, the owner of Urban Kutz, told 3News that the client allegedly came into the barbershop and did not have money to pay for a haircut, which led to the alleged confrontation.
Cleveland police say that no injuries have been reported.
