CLEVELAND — Editor's note: the video in the player above is from a previous story.
It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year!
On Saturday, Nov. 27, Downtown Cleveland’s official tree lighting ceremony will take place in Public Square.
The highly anticipated tree lighting ceremony will begin at 7 p.m.
Throughout the day, there will be a wide variety of family-friendly activities and events.
Saturday, Nov. 27 will also mark the opening of the Cleveland Public Square Ice-Skating Rink. Last year the ice-skating rink did not open due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you don’t feel like making the trip to Downtown Cleveland, you can watch a pre-recorded "Holidays in the CLE" show on WKYC Channel 3 at 7:30 p.m., hosted by radio show host Mark Nolan and 3News' own Jasmine Monroe.
Performers and appearances at the event will include Case in Point, Cleveland Ballet, Karamu House, the Cavs Powerhouse, Santa Claus and more!
