CLEVELAND — The Halloween spirit is alive at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo as the elephants are treated to a ghoulishly good gourd time.

Zookeepers are giving the elephants a massive 1,300 pound pumpkin at 11 a.m. Tuesday in celebration of their annual Boo at the Zoo event.

We are streaming their pumpkin fun in the player at the top of this story.

There were even small pumpkins for the elephants to play with.

Boo at the Zoo is currently in its 30th year at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The annual Halloween event includes animal feedings, character meet-and-greets, a hay maze, Monster Mash dance party, trick-or-treating and more.

New this year, guests can capture photos of larger-than-life rhino-made hay bales that measure more than 14 feet long and nine feet tall.

Boo at the Zoo runs Fridays through Sunday from Oct. 11-27 from 5-9 p.m.
