CLEVELAND -- The famed LeBron James banner displayed at Sherwin-Williams’ global headquarters in downtown Cleveland is being taken down this week to receive a facelift.
Crews are dismantling the current banner from Monday until Wednesday.
The updated banner will be identical to the one featuring LeBron’s outstretched arms with one significant change: A gold Larry O’Brien Championship trophy patch will be added to the back collar of LeBron’s jersey.
The new banner will arrive in Cleveland at 7 a.m. Wednesday where it will be hoisted atop the roof for the night.
Sherwin-Williams will begin installing the updated banner at 8 a.m. Friday with completion expected by 5 p.m.
