Downtown Cleveland launches 'Think Outside the Lunchbox' challenge: Full list of restaurants participating

The challenge aims to "encourage people to discover new lunch spots while supporting old favorites across Downtown."

CLEVELAND — In an effort to "encourage people to discover new lunch spots while supporting old favorites across Downtown," Cleveland has launched the "Think Outside the Lunchbox" challenge.

The challenge, which is sponsored by Citizens, offers rewards to those dining at local eateries. Here's how it works:

Participants use the challenge's web-based app to scan QR codes at participating restaurants, entering them to win gift certificates and prizes. Each restaurant’s QR code can be scanned once by an individual patron and once scanned, "bonus opportunities will be provided to gain more points and receive additional entries to win restaurant gift certificates or Downtown Cleveland swag."

Additionally, participants can boost their point totals by checking in at one of Downtown Cleveland, Inc.'s free summer lunchtime experiences with a takeout meal.
