The holiday season preparations have officially begun in downtown Cleveland.
On Saturday, Nov. 26, WinterLand 2022, formerly known as WinterFest, will kick off the holiday season in downtown Cleveland at Public Square.
The event will feature downtown Cleveland's official tree lighting ceremony and fireworks show in Public Square. The highly anticipated event, which is expected to draw large crowds, will begin at 4 p.m. with fireworks scheduled at 6 p.m.
Throughout the day, there will be a wide variety of family-friendly activities and events, including the following:
- Shop small Saturday
- Marshmallow roasting
- Food trucks
- Ice skating
- Caroling
- Entertainment
Nov. 26 will also mark the annual opening of the Cleveland Foundation Ice Skating Rink in Public Square. The ice skating rink will be open from Saturday, Nov. 26, until Monday, Jan. 16, 2023.
All holiday season, WinterLand will bring seasonal programming, lights, entertainment, shopping and more to downtown Cleveland.
