Euclid teenager killed at Shell Gas Station in Cleveland

CLEVELAND — An investigation is underway after a 15-year-old boy was shot and killed in Cleveland at a gas station.

Officials say the deadly shooting happened at the Shell Gas Station located at the intersection of East 140th Street and Rugby Road on Sunday, July 28. 

The victim was taken from the scene to University Hospitals, where he later died. 

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Mendrell Johnson of Euclid. 

3News has reached out to Cleveland police and is working to get more details on the incident.
