CLEVELAND — The family of the Cleveland EMT who has been missing since Saturday held a news conference on Thursday to plead with the community to help find Lachelle Jordan.
"Somebody knows what happened," said Joe Jordan, father of Lachelle, during the press conference at the Cleveland Division of Police's Fifth District. "I need that somebody, whoever you are, wherever you are, to reach out to law enforcement."
Lachelle Jordan, a 30-year-old Cleveland EMT, was reported missing over the weekend. She was last seen in the 11600 block of Fairport Avenue around 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 6.
Police say she had gone outside "to get something from her car that was parked on the street," but hasn't been seen since.
Lachelle Jordan is described as 5'2" tall and 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue and white East Cleveland Fire Department sweatshirt, green and white pants with rainbow Crocs.
"We want her home and we want her well," Joe Jordan added, fighting back tears. "I don't think that's too much to ask."
A $5,000 cash reward has been offered by Crime Stoppers "for information in the event it is determined this involves criminal activity."
Anybody with information is asked to call the Cleveland Police Department at (216) 621-1234 or Crime Stoppers at (216) 252-7463.
Tipsters can also choose to remain anonymous.
"We want Lachelle to know that we are out here and we will continue to be out here until that question of her coming home is answered," Joe Jordan told 3News' Emma Henderson when asked if he had a message for his daughter.

"Lachelle Jordan is a somebody," Joe Jordan said, referencing a short story. "She is an EMT. She is a somebody. There is no way that I am going to rest and let Lachelle become a nobody. Because something is going to get done."
3News previously reported that Jordan was set to make a courtroom appearance in connection with a rape case on Monday involving a former co-worker identified as Michael Stennett.
Stennett was arrested on Monday as sources tell 3News it was for violating a protective order filed by Jordan. Police, however, have not implicated Stennett in Jordan's disappearance.
"Law enforcement has to have things they can prove," Joe Jordan said when asked if he was frustrated that Stennett had not been arrested until Monday. "If I get frustrated with the process, the process can't work. I have to believe the process will work."
