INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — Local law enforcement agencies with assistance from the Cleveland Division of FBI are seeking the public's help identifying a man wanted in the robbery of a Citizen's Bank Tuesday.
The suspect entered the bank located at 6200 Rockside Woods Road and presented a demand note to the teller. The note also indicated that suspect had a gun.
The teller complied and the suspect fled the scene on foot with and undisclosed amount of money.
No physical injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s, wearing blue jeans, a green Carhartt hooded sweatshirt, and red ball cap.
The robbery occurred around 3: 30 p.m. in Independence. Anyone with any information is asked to contact officials.
Tips can be provided to the Independence Police Department, the Cleveland Division of the FBI or Crime Stoppers. Tips can remain anonymous. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible.
