CLEVELAND -- The FBI says a woman photographed by a surveillance camera last October in Rhode Island is not the person who went missing seven years ago from her Cleveland home as a 14-year-old.
Ashley Summers was last seen July 6, 2007.
An FBI spokeswoman said in an email Monday that while the woman in the photograph resembles Summers, it's not her.
Rhode Island authorities first posted a photograph that showed a man and a woman in a car at a drive-up ATM machine in January on a "most wanted" website.
The woman in the photo was a suspect in a string of identity thefts.
Summers occasionally ran away as a teen and would stay with friends or relatives. She and and her mother had argued before she went missing.
