First look inside The Beacon apartments in downtown Cleveland

There's even a rooftop sky lounge.

CLEVELAND — Welcome to The Beacon.

This new apartment tower, which hosts its grand opening Wednesday, is the first high-rise structure for residential living to be built in Cleveland since the 1970s.

The building has plenty of amenities -- the highlight being incredible views of the city.

It’s located along Euclid Avenue with nearly 200 units inside with one or two-bedroom options.

The Beacon “sits atop three restaurant establishments and a parking garage with 19 floors of residential development,” according to their site.

There’s also a rooftop sky lounge, dog park and units with balconies.

Among the “unique features” of the living spaces listed on The Beacon's site include:

- Oversized floor-to-ceiling windows

- Open floor plans

- In-suite washer and dryer
