Former WKYC journalist and longtime Clevelander journalist Dick Feagler has died, according to several sources.
Feagler was an anchor at WKYC as well as working as a lead columnist for The Plain Dealer. He famously wrote about simpler times in a classic column about Christmas-time at his Aunt Ida's.
He was also the host of "Feagler and Friends" on WVIZ.
The Peabody winner was inducted into the Press Club of Cleveland Journalism Hall of Fame in 1994.
Several former co-workers reacted to the news on Twitter.
Feagler was 79 years old.
