CLEVELAND — Sexual accusations against the Michael Jackson are making headlines once again as the new Leaving Neverland documentary airs on HBO.

But WTAM's Geraldo Rivera has his own take on the circumstances surrounding the "King of Pop."

During his Cleveland-based talk show Monday, Rivera opened up about his relationship and conversations with Jackson through the years.

You can listen to Geraldo's comments HERE.

He explained how "normal" his experiences with Jackson were -- including a visit with him and his children following the now-infamous Martin Bashir interview.

"He didn't know who to trust. 'Geraldo, why should I trust you?' I said, 'Dude, I'm like you're only friend left in America. You have to trust me to do the right thing.' I was working for Fox News, and I said let me do a special."

Jackson offered him the opportunity to visit Neverland Ranch in California to continue the conversation.

"He was nice, but weird and paranoid," Rivera said. "The closer he got to the trial the more insular he became. Then in the trial, you heard testimony from people like this guy Wade Robson who must have been in his late teens, early 20s at that time. Convincing testimony from Wade Robson that Michael Jason never touched him, never did anything inappropriate however weird their lifestyle may have been. Wade Robson is one of the two guys now on Leaving Neverland who are swearing that Michael Jackson is a pedophile who molested him. Really? But in 2005, I heard that testimony. You were so convincing that he never touched you. Now, after you sued the estate you failed to get any money, now you're on Leaving Neverland. Now you're saying exactly the opposite. So do I believe you now or did I believe you from then? It's like Michael Cohen in a way."
