CLEVELAND — The Greater Cleveland Sports Awards are back and at a new home in 2022. The 22nd annual event is set for Wednesday, March 23 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The awards fundraiser, supporting Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, celebrates a year of athletic achievements in Northeast Ohio from high school stars to professional athletes.
The festivities are back at an in-person setting after being virtual in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Who is hosting the awards? NBC Sports host and correspondent Maria Taylor will serve as the host for the 2022 Greater Cleveland Sports Awards.

What time does the event begin? Cocktail hour starts at 5:30 p.m. with the awards program slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.

- CC Sabathia - former Cleveland Indians pitcher. Award will be presented by Kenny Lofton.
Best Moment in Cleveland Sports, presented by JACK Entertainment
- Award to be announced. It will be presented by 3News' Jim Donovan and former Fox 8 sports anchor John Telich.
