CLEVELAND — A Cleveland family has been displaced from their home after a Saturday morning house fire was determined to be caused by an act of arson.
Cleveland fire crews responded to a fire on the 1200 block of West 106th Street, at approximately 2:19 a.m.
Before the fire was extinguished, it spread to two other nearby houses and two vehicles. Cleveland Fire said the estimated financial loss to the house where the fire originated is $500,000.
The financial loss for the other houses has been estimated to be $60,000 each. The financial loss to the vehicles has been estimated to be $85,000 combined.
A spokesperson from the Cleveland Division of Fire said they have a suspect in the case but continue to investigate the incident.
