Iconic Cleveland restaurant Sokolowski's University Inn sold to new owners for $1.5 million

It is not known at this time what Redbird Tremont plan to do with the land.

CLEVELAND — Almost two years ago, the legendary Tremont restaurant Sokolowski's University Inn closed their doors amid the COVID-19 pandemic nearly 98 years in business.

As of May 10, Sokolowski's has been sold to new owners, according to Cuyahoga County property records.

The new owners are Redbird Tremont LLC, who bought the location for $1.5 million.

It is not known at this time what Redbird Tremont plans to do with the land.
