Designing Cities for Women panel at the Cleveland City Hall Rotunda set for noon. The panel will feature Joyce Pan Huang, the Director of City Planning, Alyssa Hernandez, the Director of Community Development, Sally Martin, the Director of Building and Housing, and Sonya Pryor-Jones, the Chief of Youth and Family Success. The discussion is characterized as creating a blueprint for equity in urban planning and policy. All four women on the panel are leaders inside the administration of Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb.
The sixth annual International Women’s Day March Cleveland, starting at 4:45 p.m. in Ohio City. The event will begin at Market Square located across from the West Side Market at West 25th Street and Lorain Avenue. There will be a rally followed by the march.
International Women’s Day Summit will be taking place at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. The summit will be celebrating the power of women’s voices in law, film and beyond. It runs from 12:45 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. The event is located at 1375 E. 9th Street, Floor #2, Cleveland, OH, 44114. It should be noted that in order to attend this event, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association is requiring a proof of COVID vaccination or a negative COVID test within three days of the event.
