The Greater Cleveland Film Commission has confirmed that a movie on the life of Jeffrey Dahmer has started filming in Northeast Ohio.
"My Friend Dahmer" will be based on its namesake graphic novel, created by Derf Backderf. The film is written and directed by Marc Meyers and portrays Jeffrey Dahmer's teenage years.
Dahmer grew up in Bath Township. The childhood home was recently up for rent during the Republican National Convention.
