‘We miss you and want you home’: Family of missing Lakewood teen Madison Rich gives update

Madison was reported missing after leaving her home on Aug. 15.

CLEVELAND — The family of missing Lakewood teen Madison Rich held a press conference on Wednesday, pleading for her safe return home. 

“Today has been 24 days since her friends and family has had any communication with her. It is not like her to not have any communication with anybody, so that is why we are extremely worried and concerned,” said her mother, Tracey Rich.

Madison was reported missing after leaving her home on Aug. 15. She is last believed to have been at the Express Inn on Northfield Road in Warrensville Heights on Aug. 18. 

In addition, her family said they are concerned about her mental and physical health with her medications being at home.

“Please, if anyone sees Madi, call 911 so she can get the medical attention she needs,” said her mom during the press conference. 

On Aug. 21, Lakewood police pinged her phone in the area of the 19000 block of South Miles Road and the Lee Road/Harvard Road/Green Road area. 

On Aug. 22, police pinged her phone, but there were no results, as her phone had either been turned off or had died. 

“Madi, if you hear this, please come home. If anyone has Madi, please let her come home,” said Tracey Rich.

She is described as having brown/black hair with blue eyes. She is 5'7", weighs 110 lbs and has a spider web tattoo on her left arm.
