CLEVELAND — Changes are coming to Loew Park in Cleveland's Old Brooklyn neighborhood thanks to a multi-million dollar project from the city.
Cleveland City Council President Kevin Kelley made the announcement on Tuesday evening.
The city plans to add a regulation-sized soccer field, complete with grandstands that can hold as many as 750 people, plus a press box.
The $3.5 million dollar project also includes screening trees, a new walking path, new playground equipment, and underground engineering to eliminate flooding.
The Loew Park project is expected to be completed sometime next year.
