CLEVELAND — Construction is approaching completion at The Lumen apartment building at Cleveland's Playhouse Square district.
A "topping out" ceremony took place Wednesday afternoon, marking completion of major construction on the project located at E. 14th Street and Euclid Avenue. Construction broke ground back in April 2018.
Leasing is scheduled to begin in late February and residents should be able to move in by the end of June.
The 34-story building consists of 319 units and 550 parking spots.
Developer Hines and Soloman Cordwell Buenz designed the building to be one of district's tallest, with glass stretching from floor to ceiling, painted aluminum panels and exposed cast-in-place concrete.
Amenities include a courtyard terrace, pet spa, fitness center, heated lap pool and car charging and wash areas.
